Your Presence Made Our Show Unforgettable!

Our 2023 Art Show and Awards Celebration pulsated with the spirit of the 70s, echoing a true rhythm of revolution. As community leaders from across Central Florida gathered beneath the glimmer of disco, it was a powerful reaffirmation of our collective strength. Reflecting on the challenges of the year, our journey mirrored the resilience of the 70s social movements who inspired our event, marked not only by growth by by enduring camaraderie and moments that amplified the significance of our victories.

We want to congratulate everybody who was honored with an I'll Be There, Art of Solidarity, Treston Davis-Faulkner award, and our inaugural Alaina Slife Labor of Love Award. Groups and individuals like the Stellantis Auto Workers of UAW Local 1649, Floridians Protecting Freedom, Pastor Rhonda Thomas of Faith in Florida, and David Caicedo and Ana Guevara of Florida Student Power Network have kindled a spark that fuels a generation of leaders, enabling them to walk confidently on a solid foundation as they organize and triumph for workers and our communities.

In continuing this fight, we are eager to announce that our 2023 Scrooge of the Year is none other than Paul Renner, Florida House of Representatives Speaker of the House. No one was more deserving this year than the person who relished in stripping the rights and protections of Floridians through criminalizing gender-affirming care, censoring higher education, and passing a near-total abortion ban.

We are proud to announce that all items were sold at auction! Through your generosity, we reached a meaningful fundraising milestone! In ticket sales, sponsors, bidding, and donations we raised a total of:

 🎊 $24,000 🎊

We couldn't have done that without supporters like YOU 🙌🏽
