WE FIGHT BACK! Inauguration of Resistance: Town Hall
Trump ran a con game during the election. His real agenda is to destroy worker’s rights, deport millions of immigrant families, and pave the way for a complete corporate capitalist takeover by ending regulations to protect the environment, firing thousands of public sector workers, and transferring ever-larger parts of the National Treasury to the military-industrial complex. He is 100% behind Netanyahu’s genocidal war against the Palestinian and Arab people. And the Democrats did nothing to stop this, as they ran a lukewarm Centrist campaign that promised no real changes or protections for the American working class.
Surrounding the January 20th Inauguration, people across the country will gather in their cities to demand a future that centers the needs of the people over the interests of the wealthy elite. While large mass actions have their place in movement building, PSL Orlando has oriented around the belief that now is the time for Community-oriented conversations & solutions. We’ve partnered with local organizations fighting for the interests of The People at all levels to offer analysis of the current struggles we all face, to discuss how we can continue building a sustainable fight despite the repression of our State, and to strengthen systems of care here in Orlando. It’s never been more clear that we cannot rely on our Government, federally or locally, to act in our best interests. This is not a matter of Left or Right; we must Fight Back, together. 🤝
