Membership for Organizations

Jobs with Justice is a nationwide network of coalitions consisting of labor, community, faith, student, and constituency organizations. We believe in coalition building for the long haul. We believe that direct action is an important part of supporting these campaigns. Overall, we believe that labor, community, faith, and students must work together to build power and win victories for workers, families, and communities.

The Central Florida Jobs with Justice (CF-JwJ) coalition is an autonomous organization that is connected to the greater national Jobs with Justice network. Affiliation to CF-JwJ means that you are part of and give resources to the local coalition. Being an affiliate of Central Florida Jobs with Justice means that you support the basic principles and values of CF-JwJ.

By becoming a member organization, your group joins the diverse network of member groups and is granted a delegate seat to the CF-JwJ Steering Committee meetings which serves as the central body of strategic direction for the coalition. Additionally, member groups can request direct capacity support from CF-JwJ on intentional leadership development, training opportunities, and staffing support with coalition/community organizing, strategic communications and campaigns.
