Orange County’s new Tenant Services office won’t stop evictions or limit rent hikes, but it can still help

Florida Rising, Central Florida Jobs With Justice, and Hablamos Español Florida, nonprofit groups that advocated for rent controls and tenant protections, have asked the justices if they will allow so-called friend-of-the-court briefs to bolster the county’s case.
